Biography

Ms. Yvonne C. Brill has expanded the frontiers of space through innovations in rocket propulsion. Her groundbreaking work at RCA Astro-Electronics, Princeton, N.J., yielded the hydrazine/hydrazine resistojet propulsion system, a high-performance rocket engine with a mission life-extending single propellant. Today the system is used on communications satellites. An aerospace consultant, Ms. Brill is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Society of Women Engineers.

She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has been elected to the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame.
