Biography
Warren Flock earned his doctoral degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1942, He was a lecturer and associate engineer at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 1950 to 1960 and became a professor of geophysics at the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, in 1962.
His studies in radar ornithology aided the understanding of radar blackouts, air traffic control and bird migration patterns.
