Warren Flock was born on October 26th, 1920 and earned his doctoral degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1942, He was a lecturer and associate engineer at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 1950 to 1960 and became a professor of geophysics at the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, in 1962.

Biography

Warren Flock was born on October 26th, 1920 and earned his doctoral degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1942, He was a lecturer and associate engineer at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 1950 to 1960 and became a professor of geophysics at the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, in 1962.

His studies in radar ornithology aided the understanding of radar blackouts, air traffic control and bird migration patterns.

Flock died on March 4th, 2001.
