Biography

Dr. Juri Matisoo received the 1978 IEEE Jack A. Morton Award for significant contributions in solid-stated devices. He is an expert in semiconductors and has made major contributions to research in silicon technology. Dr. Matisoo attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota. In addition to the Morton Award, Dr. Matisoo is also a Fellow of the IEEE.
