Biography
Joseph P. Hart was a lifetime resident of Doylestown, PA and graduated from Williamson Trade School of Media in 1928. He later graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Hart was employed at Philadelphia Electric Co. for 45 years, his last position being senior field engineer. He was also the Doylestown Township auditor for 50 years and was the longest serving elected official in Pennsylvania. Hart was an IEEE Life Member.
Hart died on November 17th, 1996.
