James Thomas Cain: Biography
Cain earned his BSEE, MSEE and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Continuing his relationship with the University, he is now a professor there.
He has also worked with many different companies, including GE, Westinghouse, and Bell Telephone Company.
He has extensive service with the IEEE and was Institute president in 1995.
