IEEE Norway Section is thus one of the oldest Sections in R8. At the beginning of 2010 Norway Section had 1008 members. The Section has seven Chapters and one Student Branch: | |||

Origins
A letter, dated 1963, from IEEE members from Norway petitioning for the creation of a Norway Section. Congratulatory letter from IEEE acknowledging the creation of the Norway Section. Inaugrated 28th March 1963.
IEEE Norway Section is thus one of the oldest Sections in R8. At the beginning of 2010 Norway Section had 1008 members. The Section has seven Chapters and one Student Branch:
