== Milestones ==


In April 1929, the Yosami Station established the first wireless communications between Japan and Europe with a long wave operating at 17.442 kHz. The station is commemorated by an [[Milestones:Yosami Radio Transmitting Station, 1929|IEEE Milestone]].


The museum houses much of the original generating and frequency doubler&nbsp;equipment, along with a 25m section of original masting of the 8 towers.
