IEEE Board of Directors

IEEE is governed by a board of directors, consisting of directors directly elected by the members, and other members elected by the directly elected directors who are acting in their other role as members of the IEEE Assembly. While the exact composition of the board has evolved over the years, it generally has consisted of Presidents, Vice Presidents and other officers, as well directors representing geographic units and technical (group/society) units.
