Biography

Douglas Dillard Bigbie received his bachelor's degree from the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, USA, and served as an officer during World War II in the Pacific.

After leaving the U.S. Army with the rank of major, Mr. Bigbie worked with the U.S. space program and nuclear power generating plants in the United States and Taiwan. He retired from Bechtel Power Corp. in 1985.
