  • Anesthesia - the pharmacologically-induced and reversible state of amnesia and loss of responsiveness, usually used to perform surgery or other procedures
  • Angioplasty - the technique of mechanically widening a restricted blood vessel, most often due to atherosclerosis
  • Biomarkers - a substance used as an indicator of a biological state
  • Brachytherapy - "short distance" therapy, also known as internal radiotherapy, a type of radiotherapy in which the radiation source is placed inside or next to the place of treatment
