Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. was founded in 1953 and currently has over 3,000 employees. The Company is a leading manufacturer of opto-electronics components and systems which are widely used in scientific and industrial laboratories around the world.

Education:In March 1982, graduated the Department of Political Science in the School of Political Science and Economics, Meiji University (Tokyo Japan), and received a degree of SEIJI-GAKUSHI which was equivalent to a Bachelor of Political Science Degree.

Professional achievement:

In August 1985, joined the System Division of Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. and worked at its Export Sales Group.

In May 1991, transferred to Hamamatsu Photonics UK Limited as the Japanese liaison officer in Europe.

In April 1997, appointed as the Managing Director of Hamamatsu Photonics UK Limited and became a member of IoD (Institute of Directors).

In October 2010, appointed as member of European Planning and Supervisory Board when Hamamatsu Photonics Europe was established.
