Biography
Nelson W. Rogers was an electrical engineer who contributed to the development of mercury vapor lamps and the mercury vapor rectifier. He was an assistant to Peter Cooper Hewitt from 1898 to 1907 and was listed as an inventor or co-inventor on several United States patents.
