Melvin A. Thomas

Biography
Melvin A. Thomas was born on January 5th, 1903. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He worked as a plant operator at a hydroelectric station in Grace, Idaho. He later joined the faculty of New Mexico State University. Mr. Thomas became head of the department of electrical engineering and later the dean of engineering. Thomas was a Life Fellow of the IEEE.
Thomas died on June 24th, 2002.
