<p>The IEEE Tunisia (Tynisia) Section was formed in June 2008 with a startup membership of around 300. It is located on the continent of Africa, and in [[Region 8 (Europe, Middle East, & Africa) History|IEEE Region 8]]. The section is not represented on any Council.</p>

<p>The ENIT Engineering school student branch, located in Tunis,&nbsp;received the 2008 IEEE MGA Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award for the whole of Region 8. The ENIT SB was formulated in 2006, and launched in 2007 - before the Tunisia Section was formed. </p>
