Biography

Henry Kasperowicz graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, USA. He began his career at U.S. Radium in Hoboken then worked. at Alan B. Dumont Laboratories in Passaic, New Jersey, where he developed a three-color direct-view television tube. Mr. Kasperowicz later founded Video Products in California to develop special cathode ray tubes and other projects for the U.S. government.

In addition to his work with television, Mr. Kasperowicz also developed the black matrix background that enabled dear viewing of radar screens and electron beam lithography that allows production of small computer chips. His latest project was a solar antenna that generates electricity from light energy.

Kasperowicz died March 31st, 2002.
