This is a help page in the Writing section.
The IEEE Global History Network supports a number of various formats for supporting documents. These can include, images, .pdf documents, audio and visual. To upload a file, go to the upload file page, and upload the file through the web interface. Permitted formats are png, gif, jpg, jpeg, doc, pdf, ppt, xls, flv, swf, mp3. Once the file is uploaded, you can embed the file in an article. For instructions on how to embed an supporting document, see the help page for the editor interface you are using, either the Rich Text Editor or Wikitext.
