Topic articles are encyclopedic style, 3rd person articles which make up the bulk of the IEEE Global History network's content. As the scope of the IEEE Global History Network includes the history of IEEE and its related fields, topic articles can widely vary in content. The articles can deal with biographies of individuals, histories of IEEE Organizational Units and functions, histories of certain technologies and the organizations which developed them. Unlike Wikipedia, the IEEE Global History Network aims to collect all material within its scope regardless of notability. If you are interested in creating an article, please make sure it is historic in nature, 25 years or older is a good time frame to work with.
