As the person responsible for maintaining and controlling the premise of Tenri R&D Center of Sharp Corporation, I would be honored if the Milestone plaque for the first 14-inch liquid crystal display was decided to be placed in the Sharp Memorial Hall in the premise.

We are proud that our colleagues have developed in 1988 here in Tenri the first 14-inch liquid-crystal display which has become the foundation of LCD industries of the world. I shall hold and maintain that honorable plaque here.
