CC: Dr. Michael Geselowics

     Staff Director

Dear Sir:

As the person responsible for maintaining and controlling the premise of Tenri R&D Center of Sharp Corporation, I would be honored if the Milestone plaque for the 14-inch thin-film-transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) was decided to be placed in the Sharp Memorial Hall in the premise.

We are proud that our colleagues developed and demonstrated, in 1988 here in Tenri, the 14-inch TFT-LCD with high display quality for TV which has become the foundation of TFT-LCD industries of the world. I shall hold and maintain that honorable plaque here.

Regards,
