The AIEE, one of IEEE's predecessor societies, issued year books, from shortly after its founding through 1961, the last issued before the 1963 merger that created IEEE. These year books contained a variety of current information on AIEE, such as officers, constitution, bylaws, section guidelines, and awards, but the larges part of each issue was a membership directory, sorted both alphabetically and geographically, The directory included basic information on each member---date joined, membership grade, address, and employer.
