He was the supervisor of the installation of LORAN transmitters in Labrador, ewfoundland, Nova Scotia, Bermuda and Trinidad. Following the war, he and his family moved to Hackensack, NJ. He worked in New York City as an editor and author of technical publications, including [[IEEE Spectrum|IEEE Spectrum]]. After his retirement in the mid-1970s he moved to Eaton, N.H.
