Proposal requirements:
Title of the article with the number of characters plus spaces no more than 40; to facilitate good alphabetic sorting, titles may not begin with the words A, An, or The.
Name(s) of the author(s)
Timeline consisting of 5 to 15 entries; each entry states the year in 4 digits, followed by a large systems-defined space and then text in which the number of characters plus spaces can be no more than 85
Synopsis of 200 to 500 words
Bibliography consisting of 2 to 12 references of which at least 1 must be of historic significance and 1 for further reading.
Biography of each author in 50 to 100 words
An individual is invited to write a STARS article only after submitting a proposal and having it approved by the executive committee of the STARS Editorial Board.
