CSM was the first entity in Region 5 to post their IEEE Day 2013 Event on the Global Events Map, thus putting Region 5 'on the map'. The event announcement read "We are hosting a presentation on Transformers from a previous instructor that now works in industry! What a better way to celebrate IEEE Day than have pizza and a presentation!!".
