The second Materials Science and Technology conference was held in Salt Lake City, UT on October 24th, 2016. The conference seeks to promote significant metallurgical achievements and highlight the role metallurgy plays in society. The symposium feature six keynote speakers: AM&P's Frances Richards, ASM's Jon Tirpak, Professor Rian Dippenaar from the University of Wollongong, Professor George Krauss of Colorado School of Mines, Robert Glodowski of RJG Metallurgical LLC, and Professor John Jonas of McGill University.
